ADA CodeFix ("we", "our", "us") operates the website adacodefix.com and the ADA CodeFix Chrome extension. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Chrome Extension

The ADA CodeFix Chrome extension runs entirely in your browser. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. No data is sent to our servers or any third party. The extension:

  • Does not collect browsing history
  • Does not collect personal information
  • Does not use cookies or tracking
  • Does not make any network requests
  • Does not store any data outside your browser session
  • Runs the accessibility scan locally using the bundled axe-core library

Scan results are displayed in the extension popup and are discarded when the popup is closed. No scan data is persisted or transmitted.

Website (adacodefix.com)

When you use our website, we may collect:

  • URLs you scan: When you submit a URL for scanning, we process that URL to perform the accessibility audit. Scan results may be stored to enable shareable report links.
  • Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and password (hashed) through Supabase authentication.
  • Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.

How We Use Data

  • To perform accessibility scans on URLs you submit
  • To provide shareable scan reports
  • To manage your account and subscription
  • To save your scan history (logged-in users only)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Anthropic: AI-generated code fix suggestions
  • Railway: Application hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Data Retention

Scan reports are stored indefinitely to support shareable links. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
